I have no idea who you are, but my understanding is that a Level 1 support engineer is a script reader with no understanding of the Internet Protocols. Your ridiculous statement bears this out. As your higher-level engineers have repeatedly stated, a speed test result is not the criterion. I did not sign up with this service to run speed tests. Your TCP performance is only about 40% of what the connection is capable of and what your competitors achieve at a similar price. Your performance corresponds to a downlink speed of about 9 Mb/s. Streaming functions such as audio and TV do not work smoothly. I take your message to be a refusal to fix the problem. In the assumption that it is sanctioned by Exetel management, I therefore terminate this contract, such as it was, due to non-fulfilment on your part. The termination date is 12 January 2014, in accordance with my message of that date, message ID 20140112024204.GA37574@eureka.lemis.com. Since that date I have only used the link to help your engineers trace the problems. I hereby explicitly terminate my direct debit authority. Please confirm in writing (not email) that you have taken notice of this fact. If not, I will instruct my solicitor to get such a confirmation. I will treat any deductions from my bank account as a criminal act. The possibility exists that you are overstepping your mark, and that your statement is not sanctioned by Exetel management: I don't expect to get this kind of message from a Level 1 support engineer. If this is indeed a mistake, please get senior Exetel management to contact me. > However we would like to thank you for the cooperation you provided > in getting this issue resolved and are extremely grateful for your > assistance.
