Date started: 15 February 2004 Volume: 26 litres Initial density: Brix: 11.6% 4.015 kg Coopers extra light malt extract 50g DME in starter 175g Coopers extra light malt extract (priming) 47g Tettnang 5.5% AA 18g Tettnang 5.5% AA Wyeast 2565 Kölsch Yeast Alcohol: 5.0% v/v IBU: 30 47g hops boiled in water for 70 minutes. 18g added 5 minutes from end. Strained into cool water and rinsed. Malt extract boiled for 20 minutes with about 10 litres water, cooled to 50° and added to wort. Diluted to 26 liters, 40°. Cooled in fridge. Pitched at 28°.
