In 1998 we had our purebred Arabian Mare Amzar Miss Teak (Crabbet/Egyptian) mated to Christiane Yeardley's Paso Peruano stallion Paco. Miss Teak's conformation suggested that she might have a predisposition to ambling, and we thought that it might be worth an experiment to breed a half-Arab, half-Paso.
The foal was born late in the evening of the 9th October. Here some photos of her at about one hour old:

These photos were taken on the 10th October. She was about 18 hours old.

No, that's not an amble. It's a canter. But she does show a tendency to amble, so we're quite pleased.
