This is one of my pages on cooking times.
I've had a lot of pain with roasting peanuts. My previous rule of thumb was “try at 130° for 40 minutes", but that didn't seem to work well. On 7 December 2019 I established that 20 minutes at 160° wasn't enough, and another 10 minutes at 185° was too much. On 18 January 2022 I came up with the current method: 500 g peanuts for 20 minutes at 170° in the “coffee machine” “air fryer”. Here before and after:
