These are the flowers we had in the garden in mid-summer 2023, taken mainly on 21 January 2023. They're not all overly pretty, but the purpose of the photos is to
record what was in the garden at the time.
We've been here for nearly 8 years now, and there's precious little to show for it. The
best I can say is that nothing much has died in the last month. But here's a 7-year-old
Ginkgo biloba and a 5 year
old Box Elder, both still alive,
both well under 1 m high:
The Corymbia ficifolia that we bought 3½ years ago (to replace the previous one that died) is also not dead yet. In fact,
it has some indication that it might be preparing to flower (at a time when the trees are
normally in full flower):
