Wantadilla Serenade, born 9 September 2004

“Wantadilla Serenade” was born on Thursday, 9 September 2004, two weeks overdue. Her sire is Wildmoor Pilgrim Son, an American Saddlebred stallion better known as Mad Max, her dam our champion Arab mare Talquah Seren. I'll add to this page as time goes on.

The birth

These photos were taken within an hour of birth. It's been raining quite a bit lately, and the poor thing was born into a puddle of mud and couldn't get up without help.
