On 15 October 1968 I took delivery of a
factory-new Citroën Ami 6 .
I kept it until some time in early 1972, by which time I had driven about 130,000 km with
it. I had just turned 20 at the time, and of course I was over the moon about it. But
looking back on it, it was less than perfect, and I had a lot of trouble with it, much my
own fault.
